Rent to Own a Home

Devin represents a national company which can help put you on a path to home ownership. The rent-to-own plan allows you to lease a house for up to five years, one year at a time. At any time during that period, if you can obtain a mortgage, you have the option to purchase it. 

The beauty of this program is that, within established criteria, you may pick the house for these investors to buy and for you to live in. The process is easy, transparent, and built on a foundation of choice and flexibility.

To qualify for the rent-to-own program you must meet the following qualifications:
  • Credit score of at least 580.
  • Currently employed or able to show proof of earnings (if you're starting a new job, proof of future employment). Self-employed people considered with proper documentation.
  • Special COVID-19 consideration: unemployment insurance will be considered as income.
  • Minimum of $45K/year in combined household income
  • Chapter 7 bankruptcy okay (if discharged).
  • Credit history must not show a pattern of late payments.
  • No evictions from rentals in past 3 years.
  • Pets allowed, with certain exceptions.
  • Application fee of $30 per adult over the age of 18.

In addition, the home of your choosing will depend on your qualifications and how much you can afford. (Houses in rural areas, homes on over 2 acres, mobile homes, or properties in depreciating areas are usually not considered for this program.)
